Cloudfest in Germany

Such a thrill to perform with four robots in Germany CloudFest!😃 This is a clip of rehearsal footage from my 2nd day with all 4 robots.

It has been quite the process and a collaboration across 3 continents! I was based in Dubai with one robot. I have to give a big thank you to Sharmilla Kamte who helped me choreograph this piece to this wonderful music (she was in Paris, I was in Abu a Dhabi and her student was in Dubai)! I then programmed a single robot from Dubai and sent a video to Mary Ellen Stebbins who then designed the amazing lights on the robot (she was in NY, lights got shipped in from Germany. Thank you Astera !) Mary Ellen then sent the video of her light design to Lennart Funken who designed the lights on the stage in Germany. I arrived 2 days before the performance to rehearse with all 4 robots for the first time and finish tweaking the programming😅. Drove straight from the airport to the rehearsal venue. Didn’t leave the theatre until 10:30pm and then was back the next morning. And then again the next day for TV filming/interview at 8am. It’s been a whirlwind! 🌪
